CAR HIRE:

Fuerteventura is a beautiful and exciting island to explore, the only real way to see it is by using your own transport. Car hire is very popular and there are a large number of companies offering car hire.

You can get some very competitive prices on car hire in Spain because there are so many companies and competition is fierce. To give you some indication of costs: a Peugeot 206 or similar hired for seven days during the last week in September (Saturday to Saturday) will cost in the region of 120GBP (quotation includes collision damage waiver, theft protection, third party liability, VAT, unlimited mileage and airport fees).
The minimum age for driving in Spain (provided you hold a full UK license) is 18 for a car and a motorcycle over 75cc. If you have still got the old style green license you might find the police do not recognize them, so it is advisable to either get it updated or carry an International Driving Permit as well.

TAXIS:

You will find the taxi rank right in front of you as you come out of the main arrivals area from the airport terminal building, just after you have collected your cases. The Fare to Caleta should be between €10 - €14 depending on time of day.
PLEASE NOTE: The taxis can usually only carry up to 4 people and luggage.

BUSES:

When you come out of the Arrivals Hall the bus stop is to the left of the building. There are two main bus routes: the number 3 runs every 30 minutes from Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste via the airport: and the number 10 is hourly and again operates from Puerto del Rosario to the airport then to Caleta de Fuste and on to Morro Jable.

MEET & GREET SERVICE:

If you would prefer to be met at the airport, we can have someone from our management team meet you at arrivals and take you straight to the property. The vehicle provided can take 5 passengers and luggage and you will be taken directly to the property where you will be given the keys and shown around. This service is avaliable for €20 and is avaliable if booked in advance.
